Tack this on the board of the most annoying questions ever, right along with, “When are you going to settle down?”; “Have you set a date yet?”; “When are you going to start a family?”; and “Are you sure it’s not twins?”
Particularly for mothers of girls, I’m convinced that now more than ever we need to be very mindful to teach our daughters that it’s a good thing to actually be, well, interesting!
Tomorrow, the wait is over. I’ll report to work for the first time in a month, and while I’m excited, nervous, and exceedingly thankful for employment, a small part of me asks, “Do I have to go back to work?”
